Meet Denice

Denice Renteria is a first-generation American who was born and raised in Culver City. She is proud that her family has lived in this wonderful city for over 60 years since immigrating from Mexico in the 1960’s. All of her memories growing up, going to school, and working in the Heart of Screenland has helped her maintain her appreciation of Culver City. Denice continues to care about her hometown and has dedicated a lot of her time to serving our community and strives to serve more.

Denice has worked as a prop master for over 10 years. Her experience in the position allows her to bring a unique and creative perspective to Council since her job entails gathering opinions from many different individuals and forming cohesive solutions to implement ideas. This process is also essential when making decisions that will impact the Culver City community.

Denice is taking this run very seriously. She is running to give back to the City and community that has provided so much for her and her family. Denice has no intentions to seek higher office or any elected position beyond the jurisdiction of Culver City. As a lifelong Culver City resident and a manager of a department of 20 people where efficiency, decisiveness, and practicality is required, Denice seeks to do everything in her power to take care of home.
